The sun rose bright and early, casting its golden rays across the sprawling fields of Taylor Farm. Mama got going with her chores, feeding the chickens and milking the cows. The aroma of fresh-baked muffins wafted from the kitchen window, sending a shiver down my spine. After a hearty breakfast, I joined Papa in the fields to help with the planting. It was hard work, but the fresh air felt good on my face.
